Families and residents from across Parr came together for an afternoon of fun, activities and community spirit as Vibe UK hosted the Parr Family Fun Day at Derbyshire Hill Community Centre.
Running from 12pm until 4pm, the event brought a variety of activities and attractions to the local community, providing opportunities for children, young people and families to get involved and enjoy time together.
Visitors could enjoy face painting, Halloween-themed activities and a range of stalls, alongside more adventurous attractions including a climbing wall and Wheels Extreme, giving young people the chance to get active and try something different.
The event also featured a Swap Shop, encouraging visitors to give pre-loved items a second life while promoting more sustainable choices within the community.
Parr Family Fun Day provided an opportunity for families to come together, enjoy accessible activities and connect with local organisations in a welcoming and relaxed environment.
Events like this form an important part of Vibe UK's community work, helping to create positive experiences for young people while strengthening connections between families, local services and the communities they support.
Vibe UK would like to thank everyone involved in organising and delivering the event, including the staff, volunteers and organisations who helped bring the activities together.
Most importantly, a huge thank you goes to all the families and residents who came along, joined in and helped make the afternoon a celebration of the Parr community.
