GLOW gives young people a safe place to explore identity, build confidence and make friendships.
At GLOW we run a mix of group activities and relaxed social time. Sessions might include:
Creative activities like crafts, art and baking
Games and challenges
Theme nights and quizzes
Trips and special events
Space to chat, relax and meet new friends

No. GLOW is open to LGBTQIA+ young people aged 11–17 who would like to come along.
To attend, young people just need to complete our sign-up form before their first session.

We’re always happy for professionals to signpost young people to GLOW. The best way to do this is to share our sign-up form with the young person so they can register to attend.

No. We will not share a young person’s sexual orientation or gender identity with parents or guardians without their permission.
We understand that not everyone is out at home, and GLOW aims to be a space where young people can feel safe and respected. If a young person uses a different name or pronouns at home, we will work with them to make sure we respect that and avoid using the wrong name or pronouns in communications with parents or carers.
Our priority is making sure young people feel safe, supported and in control of their own story. If a young person ever wants support around talking to family members, staff can also help with that.
