GLOW Named Finalist in LGBTQ+ FLOWERS Awards – and Now Needs Your Vote!

Vibe UK is delighted to announce that GLOW, its LGBTQ+ youth provision in Halton, has been named a finalist in the LGBTQ+ FLOWERS Awards.

GLOW has been shortlisted for the LGBTQ+ Community Impact Award, recognising the difference the group continues to make for LGBTQ+ young people and the wider community.

The nomination follows a first round of judging, with GLOW selected as a finalist from the entries received. The award celebrates organisations and groups making a meaningful contribution to LGBTQ+ communities, making the recognition particularly special for the young people and youth workers who have helped shape GLOW.

GLOW provides a welcoming and inclusive space where LGBTQ+ young people can meet others, build friendships, explore their identities, develop confidence and simply enjoy being themselves. Young people are at the heart of the provision, helping to shape sessions, activities and opportunities throughout the year.

Beyond its regular youth sessions, GLOW provides opportunities for young people to celebrate LGBTQ+ identities, develop new skills, take part in trips and experiences and become more involved in their wider communities.

Being named a finalist for the LGBTQ+ Community Impact Award is a fantastic recognition of everything the group has built together and, most importantly, the community that GLOW's young people have created for one another.

Now, GLOW needs the community's support.

For the first time, the LGBTQ+ FLOWERS Awards are inviting the public to have their say, with the final results decided through a combination of votes from the public and an independent judging panel.

Members of the community are encouraged to cast their vote for GLOW in the LGBTQ+ Community Impact Award and help recognise the incredible community its young people have created.
