Youth Bus 2 Makes Its Debut at HaltonFest 2026
Vibe UK was proud to unveil Youth Bus 2 for the very first time at this year's HaltonFest, bringing an exciting new resource for young people to one of Halton's biggest community celebrations.
Held on 6 and 7 June at Runcorn Hill Park, HaltonFest formed part of the borough-wide Culture26: Made in Halton programme, celebrating local creativity, culture, and community spirit. The free festival welcomed families from across the borough for a weekend packed with live performances, workshops, entertainment, and interactive activities.
Youth Bus 2 made its public debut at the event, giving visitors the opportunity to explore the new mobile youth provision and learn more about the support, opportunities, and activities available to young people through Vibe UK. Alongside the bus, Vibe Outdoors showcased its mobile climbing wall, giving festival-goers the chance to test their head for heights and experience one of the many adventurous activities available through the service. Both attractions proved popular throughout the weekend, engaging young people and families from across the borough.
The launch formed part of a wider festival programme featuring stilt walkers, family entertainers, creative workshops, local performers, and the introduction of the new Halton Nature Watch project. With thousands of residents attending across the weekend, HaltonFest provided the perfect stage to introduce both Youth Bus 2 and the Vibe Outdoors climbing wall to the community.
The new youth bus represents an exciting step forward for Vibe UK's youth work offer, while the climbing wall highlights the range of adventurous, engaging experiences available through Vibe Outdoors, including opportunities for schools, events, community groups, and festivals through its hire programme.
