VIBE UK CEO Takes On Ironman-Style Challenge to Support Local Young People
Ten determined supporters, known collectively as the Vibe Tribe, stepped well outside their comfort zones to complete an Ironman-style relay challenge in support of Vibe UK, raising an incredible £1,632 for the charity.
The team—Jane, Peter, Bri, Debs, Jenny, Sarah, Joanne, Steph, Claire and Paul—began the day with a spin session before taking on the real challenge: completing a full marathon on treadmills in relay, followed by a three-mile swim, also as a team.
The physically demanding event tested the group's endurance, teamwork and determination, but every mile and every length was completed with one goal in mind: raising funds to help Vibe UK continue creating opportunities for young people.
The £1,632 raised will help Vibe UK provide safe spaces, positive relationships, life-changing experiences and opportunities for young people across the communities it serves. The charity works to ensure young people feel valued, heard and supported to reach their full potential, while strengthening the communities around them.
The challenge was about much more than physical achievement. It demonstrated the power of people coming together to support a cause they believe in and highlighted the lasting difference community fundraising can make.
Vibe UK would like to extend its sincere thanks to every member of the Vibe Tribe, everyone who donated, and all those who supported and encouraged the team throughout the challenge. Their generosity will have a lasting impact on the lives of young people.
